Art deco bronze sculpture of a standing, naked woman titled ‘reveil’ (french for ‘awakening’), from paris, france, circa 1970-80. Brownish patinated bronze in excellent condition, standing on a black, stepped marble plinth. Signed ‘philips’ engraved on the base. Round foundry stamp ‘bronze garantié paris j.b. Depose’. Model number: a-7744 standing female nude with raised arms. The pose appears graceful and timeless, typical of idealized representations of femininity in the art of the 1920s–30s. Dimensions: h 42.5 cm / 16.73 in w 14 cm / 5.5 in d 14 cm / 5.5 in this piece has an attribution mark,
