Elegant daybed by French designer René Jean Caillette, one of the best designers of the 1950s, who was behind several highly influential design groups (the Saint Honoré group, Groupe 4, and ACMS).
The dark-stained ash frame was designed to be easily stored, with a foldable headboard and legs. The bed base has been replaced, and the mattress and slats have been refurbished with a wool cover by Nobilis. Fits an 80x190 cm mattress.
