An unusual and large scissor lamp, made in Germany in the 1930s, during the Bauhaus era. We have not yet been able to identify the manufacturer of this special lamp.
It is elaborately crafted with attention to detail. The lampshade is enameled, black on the outside and white on the inside. The scissors and wall bracket are painted black. Individual details are chrome-plated.
The lamp can be swiveled 180° on the wall bracket, tilted using the joint, and secured in the desired position using a wing nut. The lampshade can be tilted using the joint, which is attached to a longer arm. This gives the lamp a wide projection.
These multiple adjustment options allow for customized lighting, ideal as a reading light or work light above a desk or even a kitchen countertop.
It has an E27 socket with a rotary switch.
