Its high-quality finish is the work of an exceptional cabinetmaker. The solid teak tabletop is attached to the base using dark-coloured wedged mortise and tenon joints, and the legs of the base are connected in the same way.
These functional and decorative wood joints give the table a luxurious appearance.
This table is a unique example of refined modernist post-war design and craftsmanship merging together. As a result, Scandinavian design has left an indelible mark on the history of furniture design. We can still see this influence in contemporary design today.
