Stone carving of a Hemba Monkey Mask, also known as a “Soko Mutu” or “So’O” head. Originating from the Hemba people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This sculpture is signed on the backside at the bottom, R. Myeki. The head or mask is 6” high and with the black marble base the total height is 8”.
Clearly, this piece of art would be a nice addition wherever it’s placed. Measurements;
