A fine Anglo-Irish William IV period cut glass decanter, dating to around 1835. The body is richly decorated with cross-cut diamonds, fluting, and faceted bands, all designed to catch the light beautifully. It is topped with its characteristic mushroom stopper, completing the elegant profile typical of this era.
This is a substantial piece of 19th-century craftsmanship, showing the clarity and weight for which Irish lead glass is renowned. It would have been made at a time when Anglo-Irish workshops were producing some of the finest table glass in Europe.
