This early edition of kingma’s work is composed of natural stone, pebbles and aluminum, set in concrete to form a 5 cm thick mosaic top. The top measures 110 x 68 x 35 (h) cm, weighs about 83 kg and rests on a black metal base. Signed kingma – 1969 and inscribed with roman numeral ix for september 1969. The condition of the table is very good, with minor signs of use consistent with its age. The metal base shows some paint loss and patina. Small hairline cracks are visible on the underside of the top, formed during the drying of the concrete. The construction is solid and the upper surface of the top is intact.
