Brazilian Art Deco butterfly wood table lamp, c.1930’s
Made of turned butterfly wood with the exterior sanded and polished to a high sheen. Both the base and shade are made this way thus revealing the bright wood grain against the contrasting darker wood knots. The shade is removable for ease of changing the bulb. In good original condition with some minor hairline shrinkage to the shade that doesn’t detract from the look of the lamp. Recently fully re-wired and in working condition. Comes with bulb.
