From Mali, West Africa is this handsome hand carved wood Lengola figure standing 17” high. This African sculpture has some age to it, definitely not new and most likely carved in the 1980’s. Provenance from an important African art collector in Malibu, CA.
Please see how it looks when placed on a table with other objects or by itself. Clearly this Tribal artifact would be a nice addition to any collector or placed in your home or office.
Measures 17” high X 6” wide X 4.75” deep.
In good condition, however there is a small crack at the base, but it doesn’t affect the piece as it is very solid with a warm brown patina.
