Blue Ceramic Table Lamp with Woven Shade, 1960s
A striking mid-century table lamp, likely Continental, dating from the 1960s. The sculptural ceramic base is finished in a mottled blue glaze with rich tonal variation, lending it both depth and texture. Its irregular, hand-formed profile emphasizes the artisanal quality of the piece.
The lamp is paired with a cylindrical woven shade, the natural fibers creating a warm, diffused light and a tactile contrast to the glazed ceramic. Together, base and shade embody the organic, material-driven spirit of mid-century design.
with its bold form and atmospheric presence, this lamp functions as both an object of utility and a sculptural accent, ideal for interiors that balance modernist refinement with handcrafted character.
Shade included.
