The two doors … Read more This sturdy two door armoire has a heavy hand-planed crown molding above a plain frieze and bead. The two doors each have one long and one short panel. The rails and stiles of the door frames are scalloped in the Dutch style and the front corners are decorated with applied fluting capped with hand-carved hardwood acanthus leaf corbels. The interior has only a retrofitted hanging pole beneath a hat shelf, both easily removed. This piece has a lovely warm color and relatively clear wood. See less
