The blue stemmed glass is a Secessionist Bamboo drinking glass designed by Josef Hoffman and made for the Weiner Werkstatte by Ludwig Moser and Sloane around 1922 in Bohemia. Bohemia is now part of the Czech Republic. The striking blue coloured glass stem is hand-faceted, the bowl hand-blown.
The little multi coloured glass looks like a rare apprentice piece from the Italian Venini company, made from different coloured glass, all hand blown showing the incredible skill of the Murano workers. The small glass is only 9 cm tall. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
