Signed and dated ‘89 in the lower right corner and inscribed in Russian in the back. Set in a simply carved, decorative wooden frame.

Tamara Dubinovskaya was born in 1959 in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from the Republic Academy of Art, named after Repin in Kischinev. Her artistic inspiration is rooted in the ancient tradition of Russian stories. Tamara paints in a uniquely naive style and uses unexpected colors, giving a special sense of her subjects She has exhibited in Russia, Finland, USA, France and Poland. Bulgaria, Germany and the Netherlands (Keukenhof, 2000). See less
