The idea of this book originated from one or two articles in a Pony Club magazine. It consists of a number of hunting sketches, arranged in the form of a calendar. The author recreates the pleasures of a year's hunting, giving not only a fuller understanding of the best spirit of fox hunting as well as sharing a real appreciation of hound work through delightful pictures of the English countryside through the changing seasons.
