1960's Italian ceramic wall plaque. This listing is for one of seven similar ceramic wall plaques that I am listing separately. These were produced in the Republic of San Marino, which is an enclave micro-state within Italy. Each plaque depicts a female with many different hair adornments. The ceramic portion all have a glossy finish.
All seven plaques came out of an old hair salon in Philadelphia and I restored them about 10 years ago. The sides of the plaque were gold-leafed with intentional black cracking and the entire plaque was then mounted on a velvet wrapped Masonite board. There is a hook for hanging on the reverse.
They are all in excellent condition with some very minor imperfections...please see all photos. A great addition for the vintage Italian ceramic collector.
