Beautiful French-Provincial oak console. Curvy hand-carved Louis XIV Rocco-style legs, floral motifs, and a pale worn-in patina reminiscent of being sun-drenched and bleached by the salty Mediterranean Sea air along the French Riviera. A sophisticated, lived-in, coastal charm that originated in rural provinces like Provence, Normandy and Brittany. A classic Parisian piece that gets better and better with age! As a Curator and Interior Designer, these are the timeless qualities I seek – knowing it will transcend time, always in style, never trendy. A treasured find for collectors and design enthusiasts of French-Provincial style furnishings.
