Crowned with royal red marble, this chest of drawers features two large drawers and is decorated with floral and checkerboard patterns on the front. This light wood marquetry is enhanced by a mahogany veneer frame. The two drawers each have two ring handles with rosettes and a functional lock with a bronze ribboned entry and chiseled key. Its two uprights are adorned at the top with chiseled bronze foliate trim. They also feature light wood fillet marquetry. The lower, curved crosspiece is adorned with beautiful Greek-style trim, also in bronze, depicting scrollwork and a torch. Its curved legs end with small plant-style ornamentation.
This functional chest of drawers will charm you with its compact size and its decorative richness, typical of the Transition style, which will add character to your interior, whether classic or contemporary.
