Subconsciously I think I was inspired by reading all the press of the play just opening in NYC - Waiting for Godot. Just in that mood to strip everything down to essentials - these human automatons so isolated and unreal yet reaching out with their humanly drawn arms to hold hands.
The image itself is just on the slightly toned paper. The white border and thing black frame are digitally created , and the image is NOT framed.
Most of the drawing is made by black pigment oil sticks - this is the blackest of any material available. So rich because it's oil paint.
Whereas the arms in the middle drawn with very soft charcoal. All on archival white paper.
Size of paper alone is 40 x 26 inches. It can be framed or hung just by clear pushpins.
Very good condition.
Signed by the artist.
Will be shipped rolled in a cardboard tube.
