Jesus Tellosa, (Mexican 1936-2012) contemporary pencil signed sketch. The sketch showcases Tellosa's unique artistic style characterized by fluid lines, dynamic forms, and expressive composition. Framed under glass.
Jesús Tellosa (1936-2012) was a Mexican painter, sculptor and jewelery designer. His early years were spent in Sacramento, California and Guadalajara. In 1960. he met and married Mavis Harris, who was travelling through Mexico. For the next twenty years, he lived in London. Tellosa returned to Mexico in 1980, settling in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco where he ran his own gallery. During this time, he was able to develop his work into sculpture, working in bronze and metal. Tellosa was also a jewelery designer and maker and his pieces were highly sought after. throughout his career.
