It should … Read more This abstract portrait painting of a faceless lady is by self-taught California artist JoAnne Fleming (American, b. 1930). It should be noted that this painting has a similar look and style of that of the late and famous artist Milton Avery. (See photo if Avery’s art in the additional photos provided).

This painting, 40” high by 30” wide, it is painted with oil paint. Signed in the lower right “Joanne” and unframed but ready for hanging with a wire provided. Fleming, notorious for painting only women, painted this lady in 1999. Fleming has had a one-woman art exhibition at Colin Fisher Studios In Cathedral City, California and her artwork is widely collected over many years. This work of art would be a nice addition to any collector.

Condition: Very good and the fact that this artwork is in oil, it should be noted that Fleming no longer paints in oil and instead only uses acrylic. Weighs 10 lbs. See less
