This is a Burslem marked pitcher in white with a blue, gold and pink leaf design and a blue trim. The porcelain is very detailed-from the fan shapes at the top, to the raised design at the top rim to the lovely shaping under the spout and the fluted bottom edge. The pitcher has an attached handle and a rather unique leaf design that continues inside the pitcher on two sides.
The pitcher measures 7 3/8 inches tall and is 8 1/8 inches at the spout. The base is 5.00 inches across while the top is 4.25 inches.
The Burslem mark may be dated back to the very early 1900s. The mark is shown.
The bottom of the pitcher is numbered, but the number is hard to make out and I cannot get that to correlate to any pattern name. It was made in England and there are no chips, cracks, or other damage.
