A multi-hued tangle of stems, leaves and blooms--executed on a 16" x 20" canvas and measuring 22" x 26" including frame. This is a lovely enhancement to any space
Shown here on a 36" - wide gallery wall.
Whites blossoms pop against a dark background of multicolored leaves. Shadows highlight the bright whites of the blooms.
Painted in the impressionist style, oil paint is thickly applied and brush strokes are clearly evident. There are so many, many colors in this painting. Each is an indispensable component of the whole. (It is very difficult to say which is more important than the other.)
