This piece is from the estate of the world-renowned Mexican opera singer, Gilda Cruz-Romo, who passed recently in 2025. This carving is made of Cottonwood and then hand painted. There are some places on the body which have chipped, as this figure is about 80 years of age. There is a discreet repair to the underarm of the raised arm. A striking figure from the home of a legendary woman. Measures 13.5 inches tall x 6 x 5. See less
