An elegant sparkling little piece by Frank M Whiting. Sleek classic silver details clad heavy refractive glass.
The mark is that of the Whiting Manufacturing Company of New York which was purchased by the world famous silver company, Gorhams, in 1924. This piece was presumably made sometime between 1866 when the company was formed and 1924 when it was sold.
Maker's mark: Frank M. Whiting Sterling Patent Pending.
