This is a Mid Century Ceramic Quartite Lamp emblematic of Atomic Design. It is a teardrop shape with sculptural vertical indentations and black and brown tone stripes. It is circa 1950s it stands 22” tall to the socket with a 7” round wood base. It is in workable condition wired for 120 voltage.
This lamp came from an estate sale in Delaware at a DuPont residence in 1982. It does not have a shade. It would complement any room with its simple yet elegant design.
