This set has its original upholstery (which is still in good condition)The upholstery fabric is in shades of light brown, cream and khaki. The upholstery work was masterfully done - all the patterns match. The tufted backs of the chairs have 4 buttons. The legs are finished in a warm walnut stain. The set is fully marked with brass tags. Circa 1960s. These chairs feature a timeless silhouette and great "bones". This set of chairs is on castors.

Founded in Grand Rapids, MI in 1897, the John Widdicomb Company was a spin-off of the Widdicomb Furniture Company, which was first established by his family in 1858.
