A rare and incredibly beautiful antique William IV burr walnut ottoman stool. This was made in England, it dates from the 1830-1850 period.
It is of outstanding quality and is a great size, the deep buttoned top lifts up to reveal inner storage space. There is gorgeous burr walnut trim around the lower edge, this stands on fabulous turned and fluted bun feet, with brass casters beneath.
We have had the walnut re-polished and this has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb for its age, with some minor historical wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
