This tureen from the Gien factory is still in production today. The design, called "Grains de Riz," originated around 1750, when it was still produced by the "Pont aux Choux" factory, named after a bridge in Paris. The company used this distinctive "rice grain" design to decorate its porcelain.
The tureen comes with a plate and is cream-colored.
