A particularly lovely view of Maidstone Golf Course in East Hampton, where the greens are impeccably kept and the sky, quite frankly, is showing off.

An emerald-green putting surface sweeps across the composition, set against a sky of blush, lavender and blue. The colors do all the talking here. It's the sort of East Hampton afternoon that makes you consider taking up golf—or at least finding a very good reason to spend more time on the course.

Photographed by Coastal Lane, this image is part of The Maidstone Collection, an original series celebrating the landscapes, changing light and unmistakable character of the East End.
A little piece of Maidstone, without the membership fees, the tee times or the need to improve your handicap.
