Pair of Louis XIV style bronze 3-light mirror sconces, decorated with the coat of arms of a noble family.
The pediment is surmounted by a coat of arms with the motto "Malo Mori Quam Feodari" (Rather die than fail), and the sides are decorated with weapons/trophies.
At the bottom, a satyr's head holds three candlesticks.
Wear to the patina; the candleholders have been pierced for electrical connections.
On the back, the inscription "JB Paquet, bronze fitter, April 29, 1873"
