By listed artist Nick Prokos (USA 1934-2015) from Highland Park, Illinois, as stated on the gallery label. Prokos was a master potter and professor at Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois for 35 years. He served as the art department chair. His glazed earthenware was exhibited at The Art Institute of Chicago. Being of Greek descent, Prokos received several awards durning his career. This ceramic sculpture would be a handsome addition to any home or office mid-century or not. See less
