A handsome Korean octagonal wood storage chest, designed for use as both a side table and functional container. The chest features rich red oak grain with decorative brass corner mounts and a hinged lid. The interior is lined with pages of Korean script, adding cultural interest and character. Measuring 23" high by 18" wide, this versatile piece works equally well as a drinks table, occasional side table, or decorative accent with hidden storage. Beautifully made in the late 20th century, it remains in very good condition and ready for your home.
NOTE: While traditional Korean chests were often rectangular, the octagonal form here reflects a modern adaptation of classic design.
