Set of 8 Continental carved mahogany armchairs, 20th c., having carved back with central shell motif flanked by scrolled foliates, padded back and seat in yellow velvet upholstery, scrolled handholds, rising on cabriole legs, ending in whorl feet, one with tear to upholstery at front corner of seat, approx 36"h, 23"w, 18"d, seat height: approx 19"h
