They cross into hollywood regency and … Read more These vintage art deco boudoir lamps are in very good condition for their age. They cross into hollywood regency and pair surprisingly well with certain mid century modern pieces, especially with black and rattan furniture. The included frosted glass shades have beautiful art deco patterns reminiscent of skyscrapers such as Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center.

These lights appear to have been rewired at some point. The heavy bases are likely cast iron, with gilt brass detailing, some of which was painted black. In a few areas, the black paint shows natural wear from the crystal drops. The switches are solid and the bulbs do not flicker.

The pattern cast on the wall by the shades is attention grabbing. At just 14.25" tall and a hair over 8" wide (each), these lamps are really able to draw the eye without being demanding.

Each lamp uses an E12 candelabra-size bulb. For maximum brightness and safety, we recommend LED bulbs; for the warmest glow, choose 1800K, 2200K, or 2700K color temperature or else use amber glass bulbs.
