Antique folk art wedding cabinet from 1816, from the Swabian Alb, southern Germany. This cabinet exudes history and is characterized by its original painting with distinctive striped motifs, which are typical folk art expressions from the region. The whole piece has a rich patina, the result of two centuries of use. This contributes significantly to the warm and characteristic appearance of this piece of furniture.
The cabinet has been thoroughly checked and professionally restored, with an eye for originality and character. The construction is solid, the painting is largely intact, and the patina has been preserved. The layout is still original, with one shelf and coat hooks.
