In its heyday Evertaut was the British competitor to Tolix, Multipl’s and Fibrocit. This chair is made from pressed and welded steel and features the original paint and Rexine style upholstery with the cross back supports. The chair is in exceptional condition, we have simply cleaned and wax finished it to preserve the original colour and patina. The chair features the original wooden plug molded feet and Evertaut label. Evertaut still exists in Birmingham to this date but has diversified into contract seating for auditoriums. This chair is exceptionally rare and highly collectable. Seat Height 46cm. Workshop Report: All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
