This is a Windsor Sadler floral teapot that is farily new from the 1990s. The pattern name given to it in Replacements.com is 2297-Except 2297 is trimmed in gold around the flowers and has a gold handle on the lid and this one does not. The teapot is white with some gold trim and a floral design on the front and back. There is a raised porcelain scroll design around the flowers, but it is not trimmed in gold. The teapot comes with what I think is the matching lid-except the flowers on the lid are different than what is on the teapot. The teapot on replacments does not have flowers on the lid. But it fits perfectly and works well.
The teapot measures 5.00 inches long and is 4.00 inches wide. It is just over 9.00 inches from handle to spout and is 4.25 inches tall to the rim and about 6.00 inches tall to the top of the lid.
The bottom of the teapot is marked Windsor as shown with a raised Sadler mark. It’s also numbered 2897 in gold-but that doesn’t appear to be the pattern number.
It is clean inside and out with no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage.
