This original maritime oil painting captures a quiet moment on a fishing pier or boat dock, where two figures tend to their daily catch— a glimpse into a life of hard work and tradition along the waterfront. Rich blues and deep teals define the choppy water, contrasting with the warm earth tones of the weathered wooden dock and copper-toned containers. Oil on stretched canvas presented in a substantial beveled wood frame with linen detail. Signature appears to read R. L. Sadowski '88. Possibly related to Florida artist Carol Sadowski.
