Tambor door rolls up and down. Has a slight sticking point in one spot bur not terrible. No Key but lock is intact, All the drawers have the same paper under varnish label as pictured. The case itself is extremely sturdy with no wobble or looseness whatsoever. Drawers slide in and out with ease. The spring type metal letter clamps are missing from the cabinet drawers, they would have been inserted into the two channels notched out on either side of the inside of the drawer fronts. Paneled back is a nice feature giving strength to the cabinet. Letter placards in the drawer fronts have almost all their original paint. See pictures for up close detail. A fine example of American made craftsmanship. A very utilitarian piece of history and furniture. All eight drawers are 9 3/4 front to back. 12 5/8 wide in the interior of the drawers. They are all 3 inches deep as well. (stand underneath cabinet not part of this listing) See less
