Hand carved Bohemian Chic, Don Quixote, Spanish wooden bookend.
This beautiful hand carved wooden bust of Don Quixote forming a characteristic bookend. The bust is supported by two hand carved books as the rear and base supports.
The rear book support is hand en-scribed “Don Quijote de la Manche” this being one of the books that was written about this self made Spanish Knight.
The novel was considered to be the first modern novel and the founding of Western literature as we know it today.
Don Quixote being one of the best selling novels of all time.
