It is a metal sphere resting on a cylindrical metal base covered in velvet.

The sphere, with its wide opening, easily lets light pass through.
It can be placed in different positions on its base, giving it different styles and allowing the light to be directed.

A slit all around lets a soft beam of light through.

The base houses the switch, a dimmer.
It allows you to adjust the intensity.
Chocolate brown color.
