a small breadboard-style extension at the end, made of oak. A drawer topped with a small shell handle at the other end.
beautiful insets on the top, giving it its beautiful finish.
completely restored, sanded, treated, lightly stained, then protected with a clear matte varnish.

cutouts in the fascia with pretty patterns, pegged legs. Very sturdy.

height under the fascia is slightly low; it would be possible to have extensions made by my cabinetmaker if necessary; otherwise, slightly lower-than-standard seats or benches would be ideal.
