Vintage Akoya Pearl Necklace With 14K Gold Clasp. Akoya pearls are rare and beautiful and this necklace is no exception. Featuring 59 pearls with an average of 6.20mm in diameter and one larger pearl (6.67mm) on a vintage 14K Yellow Gold clasp, this 17-Inch necklace is absolutely stunning. The natural nacre and luster are superb. Necklace has been newly restrung to insure it lasts a long time. Rumor has it that pearls are the tears of heaven that fell into the ocean. Pearls are the June Birthstone and are sought to have calming properties, promoting faith, purity and balance.
