This Jacobean-style hutch is made of solid walnut and walnut veneers and features carved wooden legs, brass hardware, and three … Read more This Jacobean-style hutch is made of solid walnut and walnut veneers and features carved wooden legs, brass hardware, and three interior display shelves (the upper two have plate grooves perfect for showcasing china, tea sets, or other treasures). Exact manufacture date is unknown, though likely produced in the 1920's or 30's based on its style and construction. This hutch would fit with a number of design plans and would be at home in a dining room, living room, or office/study as a display cabinet or storage piece.

Item is in very good condition, structurally sound with cosmetic wear consistent with its age and use. The glass door has no major cracks or chips. It closes fully, but rubs slightly (particularly in humid conditions). The piece retains its original hardware but unfortunately the key to lock it no longer remains.

The hutch has been painted with three coats of Benjamin Moore's Advance, a durable alkyd enamel intended for cabinetry and furniture. The color is BM's Space Black. See less
