These stunners are made in the manner … Read more Magnificent quality pair of handmade glass rod with Lucite and brass table lamps. These stunners are made in the manner of Geatano Sciolari for Lightolier. The pair boast 106 individually made glass rods each, spanning distance between the Lucite at top and bottom. All without being affixed to the lamp. They slide into the Indvidual aligning holes and can spin freely. Brass inner rectangular supports combined with the vertical shafts give the lamps a gold hue when on. The glass rods really play on the light, which changes with the angle of view when illuminated. Can be lit at the top bulb only or inner two bulbs only or all three at once. Lucite ball finial atop the shade harp finishes these off nicely. Not a common pair of table lamps. Love these due to the light play of the different lighting choices, they are complex and exceptional! See less

These are in as found estate condition. No significant damage can be found. They are heavy and need a sturdy table. Some assembly will be required as they cannot be shipped with the glass rods in place. Due to the nature of the glass rods being individually made there is a slight difference in each. Most glass rods fit all holes, a small few glass rods fit most but not all holes. But all rods do go into aligning holes as pictured. This is an artisan pair of lamps. Assembler will need to fit each glass rod into a set of aligning holes.
