The upper part of the backrest is topped by a stylised shell-shaped plant carving, while the curved front legs end in slightly curled feet and are enriched with floral-inspired carvings and acanthus leaves. The structure has graceful curves and elegant proportions, expressing the bourgeois decorative taste of the late 19th or early 20th century.
