I am offering for sale a unique, original "dorota" coffee set from our collection, designed by lubomir tomaszewski in 1961 in the new look style.
this set was awarded a gold medal at the international industrial design exhibition in paris in 1963 and received recognition at the national fair in poznań in 1964.
the organic shapes and asymmetrical lines of the set reflect the spirit of modernity and elegance characteristic of the 1960s. The new look style, championed by tomaszewski, combines aesthetics with functionality, as seen in the refined forms and ergonomic details of this set.
the set includes:
• a coffee pot with an elegant, streamlined shape (height: 15 cm),
• a creamer and sugar bowl,
• six cups with saucers (cup height: 6.5 cm, saucer diameter: 11.5 cm).
