for the gamblers of the world, a superb georgian whisky tumbler dating to c1815-1825.
it has a slice-cut bowl with the prince of wales armorial with the moto inch dien\.meaning ‘i serve’, the motto of the prince of wales, adopted with the crest of ostrich feathers after the battle of crécy (1346). It also has the words 'god blefs ye prince' on the opposite side. It has a sealed compartment at the base with three small dice which move around freely.
the glass dates to between 1815 and 1825, so the prince of wales at that time was either george augustus frederick, the future george iii, or his son albert edward the future edward vii.
this is an exceptionally rare example and also a full size whisky glass.

excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration, the sealed compartment is a little misty.
