The chairs by some named the "Odin chairs" after the main viking god Odin are among the Henning Kjærnulf designs inspired by the old viking mythology in shape and carved decorations and are a good example of Henning Kjærnulf’s brutalist style with his preference for raw and pure woods such as oak - a style Henning Kjærnulf used for many of his 1970s designs.
The chairs have been fully restored and refinished by our cabinetmakers carefully preserving the patina that chairs like these can only acheive over many years giving them a nice warm patina. This piece has an attribution mark,
