From R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal’s rare acquisitions, a distinguished 3x11 vintage runner originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960.
On the Design: The symmetric tribal geometric pattern enjoys defined movement in the warmth & richness of brown, off-white and other colorful tones lent by a brilliant array of yarns. Connoisseurs may note human pictorials in vibrant hues throughout the field in an uncommonly playful fashion for mid-century provenance. The movement in the colors, sharpness of patterns, and unusual folk art all attest to a one-of-a-kind tribal rug.
